MeloTel is currently in the process of hiring for three different positions. We’re looking for talented and experienced candidates to apply for the roles of Customer Service & Technical Support Representative, Administrative Assistant/Receptionist and Inside Telecom Sales Representative.
What are we looking for in a Customer Service & Technical Support Representative? This position requires someone who is equal parts people person and computer whiz. You should be a great problem solver who also enjoys interacting with others – both co-workers and customers. This is because the job requires you to provide technical support to people who may not be as adept at using modern technology as you are.
You may also be asked to conduct training sessions that will help members of a non-technical audience better understand some of the technical issues they may be facing. Your role also involves the providing of assistance to new MeloTel customers who may need familiarization with their new VoIP-based services and equipment. Finally, being an organized team player who can commit to 40-hour work weeks will help you to be a great fit for this role.
What are we looking for in an Administrative Assistant/Receptionist? If you consider yourself to be friendly, personable and detailed-oriented, keep reading! To work at reception for MeloTel, you need to be a great communicator who loves providing unbeatable customer service. It should come as no surprise that your role of receptionist will involve the answering of phones in a professional and courteous manner.
However, your dual role, which involves being an administrative assistant will ask of you to sort incoming mail and email, prepare outgoing mail and courier parcels, purchase office supplies, back up electronic files and maintain office furniture and equipment among other tasks. Of course, being a great team player who is organized, reliable and willing to work a 40-hour work week will be necessary to land this role in our company.
What are we looking for in an Inside Telecom Sales Representative? This talented individual will engage prospective clients over the telephone, through email and on social media in order to qualify their interest levels for our voice and data solutions. Although this is an entry-level position, there is certainly room for career advancement.
Responsibilities include researching small and medium-sized business owners to grow sales opportunities, following up with marketing-generated inquiries for our services and performing various outbound call campaigns around trade shows and other events.
