We have an important announcement about our cloud-hosted services.
Speaking of our cloud-hosted services, it’s important that we make a special announcement about some changes that are taking place. Effective immediately, MeloTel will no longer be offering shared web and email hosting to new customers. This change will impact new customers only so if you currently enjoy our shared web and email hosting services, your relationship with MeloTel will not be affected in any way. We are happy to grandfather our agreement with you.
We do, however, apologize to business owners who may be interested in attaining these services in the future. While it was a difficult decision for us to drop shared web and email hosting services from our roster, we have decided that it was important for us to focus our energies on our core business model. That would be our VoIP-based telecom services including our Commercial Phone Services, Single Number Reach and Monitor/Whisper Control Panel.

When MeloTel first became operational, it was promoted as a phone company. Of course, it has grown into so much more since then, but its primary focus continues to be on offering North American business owners cloud-based phone solutions. Our shared web and email hosting services have been a part of our line-up of cloud-hosted services since 2009 and they have helped us to secure hundreds of loyal customers. So, it does come with a bit of sadness that we have to let them go.
As you’re likely well aware, however, MeloTel prides itself on offering the finest cloud-hosted services in the telecom industry. This shift of priority to cloud-hosted telephony will help to ensure that our Commercial Phone Services are more efficient, secure and focused. Our mission continues to be providing unbeatable VoIP-based phone services.
