What you may not know about John is that he has quite the love for music. So much so that he has released not one, but two volumes of holiday songs. Did you know John was also a rapper?
It is May, of course. So, perhaps holiday music isn’t exactly what you’re looking for at the moment. Don’t fear! John has just released a brand new collection of songs. His brand new doubled-sided single is known as MeloTel Rap (10 Years Later). It contains two different hip-hop tracks that are all about the incomparable services and customer service regimen of the MeloTel company.
Recorded a decade apart, the two songs are simply, but appropriately titled “MeloTel Rap 2010” and “MeloTel Rap 2020” respectively. So how exactly did John become a rapper? Well thanks to MeloTel’s Editor In Chief, Daniel Faraldo and his long-time friend, T.J. Habibi, John was able to get these two tracks written and produced by industry professionals.
John enlisted the best help possible.
In addition to his accolades as MeloTel’s resident blogger and social media content provider, Daniel is also a professional hip-hop artist with nearly 30 years of experience in the music industry. Professionally known as Dan-e-o, he is actually in the midst of promoting his fifth solo album entitled, The Day It All Changed. It’s an ode to his daughter Melina and the joys of fatherhood.
Dan-e-o wrote both of the MeloTel raps and produced the 2010 version. The 2020 version was produced by T.J. Habibi who also recorded and mixed both songs. “The first one was released ten years ago when the company first started and it was done as a joke,” recalls John, “But everybody loved it! The new one is just about MeloTel celebrating ten years in business. I was encouraged to create another one. So I did.”

“Honestly, all the time and effort and money that went into this project was worth it,” insists John, “It was so much fun. To see the expressions on people’s faces when they see this businessman, owner of a technology company who has zero ambition to be a rapper can rap…that’s what makes it fun. There was no other intention.”
