FAQ's

Do you offer residential phone service?

No. Since most residential internet services are not configured with an ideal network configuration, it makes it very hard for us to provide a guaranteed service level. On the other hand, if you have a home business with a proper separated modem and router, we are happy to establish services for your home business.

Do you offer a free trial?

No. Unfortunately we are not able to offer a free trial because due to the requirement to port numbers, establish services and deploy brand new phones. However, we do offer a 30 days 100% money back satisfaction guarantee. If for some reason you are dissatisfied with your service within the first 30 days, you can return your hardware and cancel your service. You will receive a refund for any monies paid to MeloTel for that service.

Can I add more phones to my service?

Yes. In most cases, it's as simple as an email to add a device to your service.

Can I use my own voip equipment?

Yes. But keep in mind that MeloTel provides brand new free phones with any term service agreement. Our phones are all Polycom which is the industries highest rated hardware and it costs you nothing. If you wish to bring your own phones to our service, it could limit our ability to support the device if it is not a Polycom. Mainly because we are Polycom experts and have a world class provisioning platform build specifically for Polycom devices.

Can I port my number to Melo?

Yes. Porting your local or toll free number to MeloTel is free.

Do I need to switch my internet or do you offer internet service?

No. MeloTel is internet service provider neutral. This means as long as you have sufficient high speed internet. Our service will play nicely and you do not need to switch to another provider.
